Regardless of whether your inspection pit is for a truck, trailer, HGV, bus, train, public service vehicles, or even in your own garage at home they all need to be safe when not in use.

Put a ‘Spring’ (not slip) in your step!
As we transition into Spring the weather will improve and as with every year, this draws more people into the great outdoors. Now is the time to make sure your outdoor areas are safe and slip-free.
The perils of chicken wire
Chicken wire mesh is ideal for chicken enclosures and rabbit runs, but we wonder why it is still being used as a slip resistant measure when it’s a hazard in itself.
Many local authorities, country parks, forestry and environment management and maintenance tend to use it because it’s cheap and quick way (they believe) to take some measure to ensure no one slips on their patch. It’s a make do and mend solution, and undoubtedly, a very temporary fix.
Don’t let your slippery steps become an injury claim
Steps around the golf course are often a nice feature making the course both more aesthetically pleasing and more accessible. However, wooden stairs develop a slimy slippery coating outside thanks to rain, algae and moss. They can often become hazardous and increase the risk of the most common cause of major injuries… slips, trips and falls. Combining this with spiked shoes which are unlikely to prevent slipping it’s an accident waiting to happen and you’re a no win no fee goldmine!!
Stay ‘slip’ safe in the winter
It doesn’t take a scientist to work out that as the Winter season draws in it brings with it an increased risk of slip and trip accidents. That smooth surface that may be overlooked throughout the year can become an ice rink and an accident just waiting to happen. Protect employees, customers, and yourselves by assessing the risks at your premises.
Slip resistant products for winter
Great Britain guarantees at least one thing…that our winters are increasingly cold, wet, and icy. The unpredictable nature of the great outdoors makes the risk of slip accidents outdoors much greater than indoors.
